Rivet had no clue when the headphones had been placed on her, but she couldn't think about that now. She could hardly think at all the world around faded into nothingness, a dark void where all she could see was the humiliation of the Resistance and all she could hear was the propoganda that had been pumped into her brain for months. The shock color treatment plus the subliminal messaging of her early weeks had created a sizable crack in the Lombax's psyche. She had become able to recite the previous mantra by heart and now she was locked in this headspace.
If she could only get the headphones off. But her body was fighting her. Her weak Squishy body.
