It's been a busy day for Roger. He woke up extra early to pull a double shift working security today. After work, some of his close friends treated him to dinner at an all-you-can-eat buffet where he might've overeaten a little (or a lot). As much fun as it is to come home stuffed to the brim, and then some, after hanging out with friends, it certainly wears a bear out. It took all his remaining energy to hang up his jacket and stumble over to the recliner to rest for a bit. He sat down and leaned back, his gut weighing down heavily upon him. He unbuttoned his pants to relieve some of the pressure on his stomach.
I suppose I could get used to this. It's not so bad he thought as he dozed off. He didn't even remember to take off his shoes.
