Actually at one point, I found my brother STABBING the toast as it popped out of the toaster. When questioned about it he said something like 'It stops it getting burned.'
I tried this, and although it has nothing to do with the burning of the bread, it DOES both help hone your reflexes AND relieve stress at kitchen utensils that get stuck in the draw AND WON'T LET YOU OPEN THE DAMN DRAW. WHO BUYS A FISH SLICE ANYWAY, I MEAN REALLY. >:B
