So hey! I've been really bad at uploading things, and that's come to bite me super hard in the ass now that my hard drive died and took along with it my archive of character art. The most recent backup I have isssss from a year ago. I have legitimately no idea how much art I've lost and would need to find, and how much of it is actually lost unless I can somehow recover it.

So hey, I might as well upload some stuff I have before I go away for five weeks or so. Have one of my favorite new characters, Talani Freebird. A slave from birth at a facility that bred Avali as exotic pets, she was rebellious and confrontational from the get-go, and would have likely been 'demoted' to a far worse position than a simple songbird had she not been liberated by a militia group. Rather than accepting a civilian role, she chose to join the militia, receiving basic training and education before being sent to the front lines. Once her aptitude for tactical thinking was discovered, she was given further education and training and given a role as a tactician, where she rose through the ranks and gained accolades. Though even then, she can't get rid of the tattoo on her chest, that mark is designed to stain feathers and skin and everything that might grow over it, nor the scars that have been with her for so long that regenerative therapy would be ineffective.

So after rising far above being a slave, it's only natural for very bad things to happen to her, right? Or maybe someone could show her the life she's been missing being either a slave or a soldier for her entire life, and teach her how to relax. She's very high-strung and serious.

...Also, the pilot gear is for use in a Heroes of the ATuri Cluster campaign I was playing while she was getting designed. There she became tempted to the dark side and turned a tiny HWK-290 into a murder machine with the help of child soldiers. Also, the saber's not just for show.
