Alps commissioned this to commemorate the Rose & Water Ceremony, which was a special part of our wedding. On that day and each year on the anniversary, Alps brings me a pure white rose and I place it in a vase of water. The rose symbolizes his love and how it has grown as it sprung from a tiny seed, became stronger, and burst into a beautiful flower. Without the water, the rose would die. The water symbolizes life and my ever renewing love. Without the rose, the vase of water would not be as beautiful.
