Hey folks! =D Sure you all remember Charlotte, right? Well I made her to be a friend Maddie had made in another non-battling major... so I decided to give her a few more old friends in various OTHER non-battling majors. ^_^ Both cause I wanted to make more characters and cause the non-battling majors are SERIOUSLY neglected.
Anyway here's my Swan of Film and Photgraphy! =3 Meet Jean! She's gonna be the next person to create a MASTERPIECE film from the battles she records... least... that's what SHE says. <,<; she's more a public nucance around Campus then anything else...

General Appearance: Oddly plump for a swan Jean still manages to pull off the “Beautiful and Graceful” look quite well as she carries her small amount of chubbiness nicely. Beyond that she has a rather plain, average appearance, nothing particularly beautiful or ugly about her… she’s a rather plain girl as far as her species goes. Her only particular distinction is the soft, downy mane of feathers that makes up her hair… naturally she preens this constantly.
Clothing Style: Normally dresses very conservatively, deep colors (mostly different shades of blue) and a lot of coverage. She’s particularly fond of sweaters and jeans. Normally she does her best to remain rather subtle and unnoticeable so her clothes reflect this.
Accessories: Thanks to having slightly poor vision she wears a pair of glasses that somehow always remain perfectly balanced on her beak (don’t ask how, she’ll just smile and say “It’s a secret”) and normally has a video camera with her at all times, even if you can’t see it (if you’re doing something you wouldn’t want filmed then ESPECIALLY when you can’t see it).

Personality: Loud, energetic, and flamboyant enough to make her stand out even when she does her best not to Jean sees the world as a film set, and while she isn’t an actor on it she sure as heck sees herself as the director trying to get the actors to perform out her vision perfectly. She moves and acts with a theatrical flare that would put even the most unusual film makers to shame and has NO trouble explaining what she’d like to see from people to them… whether they want to hear it or not. Very eager to meet new people and get to know them despite having a horrendous lack of social skills and grace (at least when she first meets people) she tends to rub most folks the wrong way and come off as annoying or worse. Though when you get to know her well and she gets to know you Jean calms down and becomes a LOT more bearable… albeit still energetic and flamboyant. Despite all this Jean remains incredibly positive and upbeat even when folks threaten to “Tie her neck into knots” for bugging them. She’s an artist, an aspiring master of film, she won’t be dissuaded! Even when she really, REALLY should just stop… In spite of all these negative qualities, or maybe because of them, she somehow remains a rather endearing person and a loyal and stalwart friend to anyone willing to tolerate her.
History: The child of a divorce Jean’s earliest memories are of just her and her mom struggling to make ends meet and just barely scraping by with her mom working in a law firm and Jean spending most of her time with relatives. It wasn’t an easy life for them but they managed to make it work for a long while till her mom accidentally stumbled into a relationship with a rather wealthy Pidgeot. It was a slow romance but it ended with the two marrying and Jean having a daddy again… naturally she didn’t trust the guy at all. As time went on though she slowly came to grips with her new father and by the time her little sisters were born she could call him “dad” with wincing. Her little sisters also brought something else into Jeans life as the teenaged girl found herself holding the video camera for their first steps, first words, and more… she loved it. The ability to capture the world around her, immortalize it on film and create a masterpiece out of it left her feeling giddy. It was this that eventually led her to look into the Film and Photography major at the PCA, and with a little help from her grades and Dad’s cash she found herself attending the academy.
She quickly fell into wanting to film battles over anything and her first official assignment to film a battle had her recording a chubby miltank girl she didn’t expect too much from… boy was SHE surprised when the gentle looking mon bulldozed her opponent. She got an A on that assignment. Jean was even more surprised when she opened the door to the new babysitter for her little siblings only to find the same miltank she’d recorded not three days earlier waiting there. Intrigued by this Jean struck up a conversation with the miltank, who she learned was named Maddie. This eventually blossomed into a close friendship with the Maddie, who in turn provided Jean with a far firmer grounding in reality then she usually had.

Sophomore: Double Team, Tailwind, Bubblebeam, Air Slash
Junior: Roost, Windstorm, Ice Beam, Rain Dance
Fighting Style: Though she rarely steps into the arena if she can avoid it Jean has proved to be a surprisingly effective fighter when she’s actually tried, enough to warrant a few team invites which she either politely declined or outright ignored (depending on how she felt about the people asking). She can fly and puts it to good use, making victory darn near impossible for anyone without flight or a ranged attack as she swoops and glides high above their heads. She always starts matches off with Aqua Ring and from there takes off and normally spends a minute or two using FeatherDance and Double Team to put on what has been described as a “Mid Air Ballet”… unfortunately she’s incredibly easy to shoot down during this if her opponent has any sure hit move thanks to the fact she’s more interested in her performance and looks than them. From there she’ll lay into the opponent harshly with her distance attacks, showering them in water, ice, and air based attacks in an attempt to overwhelm them in the deluge. If worst comes to worst her last ditch trick is to bring out a Rain Dance and start using Windstorm since that attack hits hard and is near impossible to avoid during rain… unfortunately rain also makes Thunder unavoidable, a nasty little fact that makes her hesitant to use it unless she has no other options.
Miscellaneous Facts: She’s well known around the school thanks to a nasty habit of hers. When ever she’s assigned to film a fight she’ll go to whichever side she likes best (NOT which side she’ll think will win, where’s the fun in that?) and will give them tips and advice on how to make the match look more “Spectacular”… she’s been chased out of the training gyms under a hail of attacks more times then she’ll admit.
She has a LOT of trouble remembering names till she knows folks really well, so she has a tendency to refer to folks by nicknames till then. These tend to be rather random and could be anything from something she heard from somebody else (she calls Andrew “pampers” after having hear Sammi call him that, though she means it more as term of endearment then Sammi’s insulting version) to somebody’s attitude (she refers to Sammi as Spunky because of this, and has gotten her shin kicked several times) or just random species jokes (She calls Petie and Jules Honey Cub and Aura Puppy respectively). If she’s really close to somebody she’ll use this as an occasion gentle way of teasing them (as she does when she calls Maddie “Super Nanny”).
She’s decided her main goal before she graduates will be to film Pre-K’s first win, a goal so far she’s failed at thanks to them not having WON yet, but it hasn’t stopped her from being there to record each of their matches. She plans on splicing it all together with the film she has of them training, hanging out, and more (she’s been stalking them yes, it’s a hobby at least) and make it into her Magnum Opus “Playpen to Arena, the Rise of Pre-K: An Underdogs Dream” So far whenever she’s started describing this to Maddie and Pre-K they’ve backed away from her slowly (not that she’s noticed) and tried to calmly talk her into spending her time and energy on other things. No luck so far as she’s working to set up for Pre-K to have an appointment with Shellshock before each and every one of their matches so they’ll look their best.
She recruits her younger siblings (the 4 year old and two 5 year olds) to help her film matches since 4 angles makes for better overall usable film then just 1… she manages this by bribing them with candy but after the first “Incident” she learned to hold off giving them the candy till AFTER they’ve finished filming. She never did find out what happened to those two cameras…

Good lord, pretty much ALL of my characters would absolutely hate her. Except Valence, and maybe Isabella. So long as Valence can keep in the film's spotlight, he's happy and sparkly; and Isabella just wants more excuses to show off her tailoring skills. The rest of them though... bad idea.
