So I noticed there was this weird new "Power Puff" sort of look for ponies, and I was curious enough to stumble on the new series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and found myself watching the whole first season on YouTube. Unlike past series, which were too soft-edged and infantile to ever really catch my attention, this show is remarkably sophisticated. The characters have distinct personalities and mature voices, and the world of Equestria, fluffy and magical though it may be, is fully-realized enough that the ponies all seem to have grown-up responsibilities in a working community. It's easy to look at the one-second walk-ons in the background crowd, each with their own colors and hairstyle and mark, and wonder what their story is.

Naturally, I had to try seeing what I would look like in this setting.
