99% of this picture was actually done before Eurofurence this year.
The story of working at this picture was that I had a talk to an new appered artist while working on it. And it really made me feel unhappy. The artist questioned/critiqued everything of this picture and especially my way of working. It took me a while to get over all the stuff she said to me.
And in the end I made a conclusion for me: I love helpful critique and I often ask for it. But there is critique that can destroy an artist and it's doing. If you feel unhappy and blocked after critique.. it may be some of these and you should not listen too much.
The essence of what keeps us creative and happy with our work is our own freedom in doing things and being able to stand for it.
And people that REALLY want to help you. WIll give you critique that will not depress you and that REALLY will be helpfull for both of you. Your art and your heart.

Digital hast du es echt drauf. Die Vordergliedmaßen des grünen Drachen wirken auf mich etwas zu kurz oder dick, aber das tut dem Gesamteindruck des Bildes keinen Abbruch. Die Coloration und das Shading sind einfach großartig! *sich den Kommentaren von oben anschließ*
Ich sitz auch immer ewig und drei Tage an digitalen Zeichnungen und verliere dann die Lust. Und was die Kritik angeht: Ich denke, es kommt bei Kritik auch immer darauf an: Der Ton macht die Musik. Okay, wenn Auftraggeber ewig nicht zufrieden zu stellen sind, dann ist das schon mitunter sehr entmutigend. Aber wie du bereits geschrieben hast: Solange die Kritik freundlich und hilfreich rübergebracht wird, bringt es auch den Künstler weiter. :)

Das mit dem Vorderbein ist mir schon aufgefallen ^^ Aber ich wollte nach so langer Zeit nichts mehr ändern.
Kritik ist immer eine komplizierte Sache. Es gbt halt Leute die einfach was sagen wollen. Und helfen steht bei ihnen leider meistens nicht im Vordergrun. Aber auch diese Erfahrung muss mann leider mal machen um es dann besser für sich filtern zu können.

Wer da noch meckert ist selber schuld.
Aber es gibt leider immer Leute, die denken wenn sie lange genug mosern, gibt's das Bild umsonst.
Außerdem guckt man sich doch vorher die anderen Bilder des Artists an, da weiß man doch, was einen erwartet.
Dieses Bild zeigt mal wieder, daß du dein Handwerk verstehst.
Wer da noch meckert ist selber schuld.
Aber es gibt leider immer Leute, die denken wenn sie lange genug mosern, gibt's das Bild umsonst.
Außerdem guckt man sich doch vorher die anderen Bilder des Artists an, da weiß man doch, was einen erwartet.
