Melancia's proud of her baby girl, she's becoming the witch she hoped her to be, and Eden's happy to make her mama proud! Ever since that incident a few years ago, (in universe time) Eden's been able to transform into different animals, and she's been taken care of by Melancia ever since. She's still a better mother than Eden's parents ever were, and frankly, Eden loves her for that. She's thankful for that every day.
