Draco the Leopard Gecko Flight Capability Lore
As Draco cannot fly in this form, he possesses the equipment to do so instead.
Derived from the flight systems of DRAC-0, Draco’s ScramPack v.2.0 is a grey set of wings that fold on themselves, and strap on to him like the legs of Otto Octavius.
Boasting 2 small Scramble Thrusters capable of up to 15,000 pounds of thrust combined, in afterburner mode, though this burns enough fuel to empty the small attached fuel tank in 20 minutes.
Variable axis thrust vectoring allows stable flight for the Gecko no matter how he positions himself, all paws-free thanks to neurological connectors directly to the brain. Allowing Draco to use weapons ranging from akimbo revolvers to his signature FN Minimi machine gun.
Due to his gecko body being less than mach 1 capable, squishy and soft skin being the core blame, Draco can only tolerate speeds of up to 300 miles per hour even with goggles over his eyes, despite the mach 1.3 capable thrusters strapped to his back. At fuel efficient cruising speed without refills, Draco’s pack can last him hours of flight, or up to 800 miles of flight. Getting him from Land’s End to John o’ Groats in 3-4 hours with ease.
