The next chapter is out in my UTO story set in the
Hetzer universe
As Lupus strolled with purpose across the city streets, his leg muscles bulged with every footfall firing him forward across the pavement. Focusing his pupils to the passing mesos, maneuvering his body as it cut a path through the crowd. The lupari concentrated on his paw and the human sized digits acting as a railing to protect his charge. Lupus lowered his gaze for a moment, enchanted as the human rested against his abominable muscles, disappearing amongst the valley of white fur.
The human's chest slowly inflated, pressing his raised knees against his chest, staring at the towering pedestrians. Slowly wrapping his arms around his legs, mesmerised by the scent of lupari overwhelming his nostrils. But, clung his hands upon his leather jacket, sealing his form within it. Watching as Falashai’s, Tordenchi’s and Ra’tieens passed with toothless smiles. Alex’s facial muscles cracked as they struggled to smile, attempting to hide his pounding hard that shook his anatomy.
Yet, Lupus persisted, ensuring the bystanders curious gaze upon his charge didn’t strike Alex’s nerves. Moving his cupped paw deeper within his fur, the human was almost nowhere to be seen. Slowly quickening his strides, those radar ears honed in on Alex’s scent urging him forward. Tilting his head towards the huma, only seeing Alex’s toe tips, a smile emerged from his maw.
But, Alex remained locked in his own self-confinement, concentrating on the leather that added to his sealement. Creases formed across his jacket as he closed himself within it, craning his neck upwards, ignoring the strain it experienced. The small heartbeat synchronized with Lupus foot steps, but each foot paw landing did nothing to shake the human. The human realised if he closed his eyes, he wouldn’t notice Lupus movements.
That was until he witnessed a colossal paw manoverur towards him, acting as a roof to seal him in Lupus cupped paw. Lupus remained silent, only adding to the uncertainty Alex felt towards this gesture. If it wasn’t for Alex’s heart pounding his eardrums, he would appreciate the silence within Lupus paws. The scent of lupari only urged him to squeeze his leather jacket tighter, closing his eyes and allowing his chest to expand with air before release. Alex rested within a fortress of leather only spawning visions of fire that burned in his pupils. A sense of breathlessness nearly consumed Alex as he squeezed his chest, nearly shattering it upon the strain.
The human, nearly close to succumbing to his visions, was interrupted by a wave of light striking his form. Opening his eyes softly to see his work place in front of him beyond Lupus cupped paw. A building rested peacefully within a scene of enormous Lapra trees within an urban park, separated from the large Lapra parks to accommodate for humans. Watching as the building became closer into focus. The hypnotising lupari strides continued, marching towards the building.
“Ready for our first day?” Lupus cooed towards his charge, offering eyes that sparkled to Alex. Watching as Alex shifted his neck muscles, craning upwards to meet his gaze. Lupus' eyes locked onto the human that barely covered half his paw.
Frozen between a heartbeat, the red-haired human started to have these large sparkling blue eyes reflect his own form back. Barely filling half Lupus pupils reminding Alex of his size. Seeing only the eyes of the predator focus upon him, yet the lupari eyes only showed compassion. Alex watched himself smile, turning back to the building, heading inside.
Alexs and Lupus' eyes fixated on the 64 foot falashai’s emerald eyes staring towards them, his form showing no signs of relaxation. The lupari’s attempt to wave was only dismissed by a blank stare towards the pair. “Lupus...and...Alex?” the pair nodded with no response in the falashai’s facial muscles. “Thank you for being on time, I assume you read the information packs” the fox stared to the unblinking human who nodded, but the snickering lupari caught the falashai’s attention.
The lupari snickered slightly, his ears perking as he faced the displeased fox. “Yes, I did Mr Aleshi. As did Alex” he smiled, but Mr Aleshi remained unfazed. Standing with his arms crossed, pressing against the vulpines abominable chest smothered in a white underbelly surrounded with red fur. The falashai’s emerald eyes shifted to the clenching human, smiling toothless to ease the human.
“Alex, thank you for your application” Mr Aleshi smiles reassuringly, raising his digit to greet the human. Alex hesitantly withdrew his hand from his chest, and placed his palm upon the fox’s finger tip, shaking it gratefully. “We are lucky to have you” he exclaimed, as Alex slowly beamed towards the grinning falashai.
“Yes, we are” Lupus smiled down to his charge, ears perking on end as a gust of wind emerged from his wagging tail. Alex hears the whoosh of displaced air from the lupari tail, gently releasing his grip upon his jacket, patting the lupari paw. Before Lupus could react, Alex returned back to his confinement, releasing his hand from the falashi’s finger. “Shall we start the day, Mr Aleshi?” the fox nodded, turning to lead us further within the complex.
The doll sized human within Lupus' grasp, refused to melt into the leather pad below. Watching as the apartment building sized mesos walked through the hallways. Staring at the lupari tail that swung with purpose with every footfall, unlike the frozen red tail of the fox that was locked in place. Leaning slightly to stare at the ground that laid 45 feet below served as a reminder of Alex’s own insecurities.
Alex’s eyes widened for a second, seeing a red splodge on the pathway. But, vanished after he blinked, returning back to rest against his guardian's welcoming chest fur. The aroma of the lupari attempting to unravel the knot within the human stomach. Filling his nostrils without consent, but Alex did not hesitate to invite it in. His heart soothing in his pounding rhythm, seeing a faint pale white gust of air leave his lips. The muscles hidden under his fur was all that surrounded Alex’s mind, complimented by the fragrance of his 73 foot protector. Each inhale took in the lupari odour more, but only urged Alex’s leather jacket to enclose him further.
“...and this is your room, Lupus and Alex. We have our first human scheduled in 10 minutes” the Falashai instructed, slowly turning back to leave the room, with Lupus standing in the middle of a spa-like room. Candles scattered across as small flames provided the only light that chased away the dark. Incense sticks ignited on top of the fireplace, adding to the calming effect it sought to create.
For the tiny human, the only effective incense was the scent Lupus provided. But, it became overshadowed by its stark familiarity only made worse by the leather that encompassed him. Craning his head, clicking as it turned to meet the lupari’s curious gaze.
Lupus smiled warmingly towards his charge, beginning to turn and place his muscular cheeks upon the wooden bench. Leaning his head back to meet the soft pillow behind, allowing his chest to expand. Continuing to focus on the human within his grasp, seeing his body slowly shift forward as he breathed in.The lupari snickering quietly, staring at the pocket sized toy resting in his paw. But, not a toy, a friend that he sought to protect.
“Alex, is everything okay?” Lupus whispered, lowering his maw to meet Alex, filling his pupils with the sight of his guardian. Alex stared at the eyes that offered security, smiling slowly towards them. The lupari’s eyes fall softly to their sides, and his tail resting upon the wooden bench, looking at the human who shook his head in dismissal. “Talk to me Alex, is…”
“Ummm...h-hello, are you Lupus?” the small human woman standing with crossed arms at the doorway whimpered. Alex turned to meet the gaze of the woman who shivered slightly, struggling to face the building sized wof.
“Yes miss, this is Lupus. All is well” Alex spoke reassuringly, the woman sighed softly and took slow footsteps towards them. The human smiled towards her as Lupus lowered his paw towards the ground, resting flat upon the wooden flooring. “Welcome miss, you are our first customer. Please, allow me to assist you” he requested calmly, moving his hand to ease the woman's trembling movements.
The lupari was enchanted by the sight, staring towards Alex’s hand that welcomed the lady’s grip. Both humans locked in one anothers grasp, Alex helped her onto Lupus leather pad. The paw called to the crossed armed woman like a siren song, offering a resting place to carry her troubles.
Slowly lifting herself up, Alex’s thin muscles struggled to bulge as it held the weight of the woman. Raising her hand, applying pressure onto the Lupus digit that slightly loomed over her, she climbed onto the awaiting pad. Almost tumbling upon it, but Alex rushed to catch her. They smiled at one another, whilst Lupus retreated his digit that attempted to catch her.
“How are you feeling so far, miss?” Alex asked delicately, holding onto her hand as they both sat down on Lupus' paw. The woman nodded at Alex’s request, both looking towards the lupari who remained lost in thought. “When you are ready, Lupus,” Alex instructured, and Lupus gave a compliant smile as he cautiously raised his paw to meet his toothless smile.
The woman leaned back, facing the glistening blue pupils that idolised the two humans in his grasp. Seeing only her reflection and the security the towering lupari gave, and the trust the lupari’s charge gave. Opening her mouth to fill her lungs with thick cool air, allowing her shoulders to droop down.
After a few moments of quiet, the Lupari focused on his senses that picked up the smell of fear of the woman. “Miss, you are safe. Take your time” he cooed towards her, raising his eyelids, allowing more of his sparkling pupils to fill the two human’s eyeline. “And, if necessary, I will use my lunch break to help. Deal?” Lupus beamed towards her, cutting off the woman who just managed to open her mouth.
Alex’s gaze fixated on the radiating smile across Lupus maw, releasing his grip slightly on his leather jacket. “He means it, trust me” the red-haired human snickered towards the blushing Lupari, turning back to the woman who released herself from her crossed arms enclosure.
“Thank you” she mumbled faintly to the 73 foot wolf and the ears and nostrils that honed in on her and the charge that sat next to her.
***
A few moments passed, and the fragile woman laid trembling like a lead within his paw, resting against Alex’s sturdy body. Both Alex and Lupus worked to support the trembling woman with tears streaming down her cheeks. Using his claw tip, Lupus passed another handkerchief to Alex, collecting the woman's tears.
“Shhh, it's okay Claire” Alex whispered towards her, wrapping her arms around her one last time, whilst Lupus' digit wrapped around her back. Melting against her back supported the women's grief. “You will see your wife again, I promise” he smiled warmingly towards Claire, releasing her from his chest. Turning to the lupari who gently began to press her against the valley of fur that awaited her, nearly losing her within his fluffy chest.
Releasing the woman softly from his fur, protecting her and his charge within his cupped paw, he lowered his paw towards the ground. Although hesitant, Alex slid off the supportive pad of his guardian, turning back to help the woman off. Both stopped to smile towards the towering wolf, before Alex led the woman towards the falashai standing in the doorway.
Alex gasped, “h-how loong have you been standing...there” the red-haired human craned his head up to meet the vulpine. Mr Aleshi snickered to himself, crouching down to meet the human pair, extending his paw to meet the ground. The platform-like paw awaited the woman who walked towards it with little hesitation.
“Enough, take your lunch break you two...” he insisted, but diverged in thought at the immediate response from the woman to sit within his awaiting paw. The fox smiled, raising his paw slowly upwards to meet his chest. Claire rested against the white furred belly of the falashai, grinning towards Lupus. Just before walking away, Mr Aleshi gave one look to Alex, “good work” he whispered as he left the room.
Standing there frozen, the red-haired human faced the empty doorway, forgetting his whereabouts. The world almost blurred until he was tied back by the sound of displaced air from behind. Slowly turning to see Lupus' tail moving vigorously across the wooden table, and a light pant escaping his enlightened visage. But, Alex was insistent on staying still.
“Alex, what is it?” Lupus whimpered pleadingly from his trembling maw, his drooping ears honed in on the humans scent. The back of his head retreated from the pillow, leaning to greet closer to his charge’s height. “I thought it was Claire, but no. Its...you” he stammers, focusing on the little human that stood by the doorway.
The wolf delicately shifted those cheek muscles, leaving the firm wooden bench, beginning to crouch down on the floor below. Staring to the jaw dropped humans and the pearly white teeth that were exposed. Moving his soft leathery paw to the ground below, presenting itself towards Alex Remaining still as his senses focused on the frozen human lurking just above his toe.
“Come here lil one” his voice like a siren song, enticing the human to take a few steps towards his paw. Treading softly as he exhaled through his trembling lips, clinging tighter to his leather jacket, squeezing his belt to the point of straining the fabric. Alex allowed a small piece of air to enter his lungs, pressing his crossed arms against his chest. Relieved that the medicine took effect, but placed a hand upon his pocket, tracing a small box within it. A tiny gust of wind left his small pink lips, retreating his hand from the box, striding slowly forward to his guardian.
Both Lupus ears perked at their highest, whilst his tail displaced the air around it, the human moving closer. Alex’s eyes locked onto his guardian, and the sparkling pupils that focused on him. The luparis puppy dog eyes attempting to entice the human to quicken his movements. But, with every foot forward, Alex clenched his jacket. Creasing the fabric tighter and tighter as he approached the 73 foot wolf.
“Lupus. I thought you were on lunch break…” Mr Aleshi projected, his voice vibrating through Alex’s trembling anatomy. Lupus dismissed the falashai’s voice, focusing on the human who stopped in place. Hearing shallow footsteps behind him accompanied by a looming shadow that smothered him. A chill sent down Alex’s spine as he clung to his jacket for warmth, rubbing his arms up and down his sleeves. Facing Lupus as his ears gently dropped to their sides.
“Yes, heading there now sir” he replied calmly, but felt free to stare at the impatient falashai that turned away. Moving his pupils to face the back turned falashai, sticking his tongue towards the fox, turning his attention to Alex with a smirk. Only to freeze as the vulpine turned back around towards Lupus, seemingly ready to tell the wolf off. But, Mr Aleshi’s eyes concentrated upon his red-haired charge.
“Alex, I have prepared a human break room for you. Your guardian will take you towards it” the fox says firmly to the human, but gives a stern look towards Lupus seemingly aware of his recent antics. The human nodded, turning around to force his strides to the awaiting paw, climbing onto it.
The lupari felt the little weight of his charge, but the sensation sent a smile across his maw. His rhythmic heartbeat quickened as he felt the trust within his paws. A delicate human that won him over at first sight, sat in his paw as his back met his chest. But, Lupus' eyes drooped still, the worrying scent of the human remained. Seeing his charge in such condition felt like he had a broken toy within his grip that he desired to fix.
After Lupus left the room, the weight of the falashai’s word hit the small human. Raising his knees to tighten his curling form, hunching himself over, sitting on a paw that could be mistaken for a bed. Alex’s eyes darted around the corridors, shocked to start feeling shallow movements with every paw landing. Each step coursed through his body like a symphony, but when opening his mouth to speak, he went quiet.
“Alex…” he whispered towards his guardian, the human still feeling his strides lost in focus. The red-haired charge’s heart pounded within his charge, feeling the power Lupus exerted with each stride. Closing his eyes to imagine the bulging titanic pistons that propelled himself forward. Complimented by a scent that can only be confused with an alpha wolf. Lupus’ head lowered as he stopped near a dark oak wooden door. “...Are you okay with being in the human break room?” he asked curiously, hiding the minor whimper that infested his voice.
Alex, focusing on the scent and muscles that surrounded Lupus' titanic form, locked his gaze towards the door. “Yes, if that’s okay?” he mumbled, watching as Lupus' other paw extended to wrap around the golden doorknob. Twisting it to reveal a colossal remodel of your typical office break room. A kitchen section with countertops, a microwave and kettle rested in the far left corner. Whilst a round wooden table and chairs stood in its centre, and a large window with a white metal exterior illuminated the room. But, the human’s eyes fixated on a metallic compartment in the far left corner, similar to the one he calls home.
Hiding his worry for his charge, Lupus walked towards the human compartment, lowering his paw to meet the metal platform. Alex hesitated at first, turning to meet the gaze of his guardian. Yet, Lupus did not do the same. The glimmer of delight all but vanished as Alex walked onto the platform.
Pulling his yutri, opening the door with a woosh, he stopped to turn to his guardian. “Thank you, Lupus,” he smiled softly, beginning to walk inside. Another woosh filled his ears as the door shut behind him, sealing him within the metal confinement. His eyes scanned the compartment, staring at what appeared to be a dollhouse sized replica of the break room outside. Turning towards his kettle, enacting on his british stereotype, his mouth suffered with thrust for a cup of tea.
Flicking the switch, hearing the sound of boiling water, Alex collected the milk, sugar, and tea bags. The heat of the steam nearly overwhelmed it as he awaited the click, beginning to pour the water in. A tiny smile attempted to travel across his mouth, as he applied his weight on the single wooden chair. Picking up the mug, preparing to take a sip, but stopped. Alex sighed, setting the cup below, turning to the small window that faced the large break room.
Lowering his head as he caught a glimpse of Lupus, seeing the joy all but left his system. Each of these radar ears fell to their lowest, whilst the large white furred tail ceased in its movements. Each of his blue pupils staring into oblivion. About to breath out, Alex winced, rushing to put his hand upon his ribs and collect the medicine. Taking it instantly, praying for its immediate relief. Focusing his attention to the drooping lupari, Alex stood up with his mug glued to his hand, walking towards the door.
Lupus almost collapses his body upon the wooden chair, pointing his maw towards the wooden circular table, sagging in place. But, his ears perked as a ‘whoosh’ filled the dreadful silence that infected the atmosphere. Turning his attention towards the human compartment, his eyes widened to see Alex standing on the platform. The desire to rush and hug the human against his furry chest was dismissed by the worrying scent he picked up from Alex.
“Alex, what is it?” Lupus whimpered in distress to the human, but Alex's body did not move. Standing firm in place on the metal flooring, the reality of his size made truer by comparing his break room with Lupus’. Focusing his attention on a human with his hand upon his lower ribs, and a slight exhale sent his lupari senses firing.
“Can I have my break with you…?” the human pleaded, causing the lupari to leap from his seat, offering a paw at the platform for Alex. Focusing on the human whose leather jacket began to slightly expose more of his body, walked onto his awaiting paw. Sitting crossed legged within its centre as Lupus strode slowly towards the table.
“Of course you can, want to tell me what’s up?” Lupus whispered slowly, placing Alex upon the table, and rested his maw on the table. Concentrating on the human cross-eyed, smiling slowly as his eyes awaited the human's soft voice. The lupari’s heart almost shattered as he witnessed the distress of his charge, but he sought to remain calm. Ensuring a relaxed pose, allowing the human to fill the silence with his words.
