Btw what do you think of entire "Kursed redemption" idea? I know many people like this idea that she can become Krystal again and reunite with Fox and her old friends. Though I personally believe that Kursed is beyond the point of no return for that to happen.

I think it could go any possible way really and I myself find fun ideas in both of them.

Having Krystal reunite with Fox and others could have some nice heart warming moments, but I also think this "solo renegade" path has potential. :)

The way the story was shown in Command itself I find redemption hardly possible. But if it is being properly reimagined - that can work:)

Sorry for the necro reply, but I think it's safe to say that at this point, A LOT of fans can create a better plot and story with Kursed than Nintendo ever could. :/

Well in my opinion, that isn't that high of a bar to top, since Nintendo ain't really known for their writing lol.

Sure there are some exceptions, but overall their writing is either just there to prop up gameplay or is all implied lore for speculation, like Kirby stuff etc.

I with everyone else to say that I didn't like what Nintendo did with Krystal. Like come on that's so not her.

But I was thinking if they continue Star Fox with her as Kursed, I was hoping that Fox and Krystal fighting at each other. Fox basically blocking all her attacks, pleading her to stop. But she wouldn't budge until Fox pins her on the ground, telling her "please read my mind Krystal, please". She's struggling trying to get out of his grip, until she eventually does read his mind. She sees how much he loves her, and cares about her that makes her shed a tear. Then he finally release his grip and says "I love you" to her.

Buuut nah, I don't really know if possible the "I know the real you is in there" trope will work on Kursed, but I just really want to see them back together at least.

That sounds like a touching scenario, but I also don't know if it is even possible for her to return at this point. I think if they continue Star Fox series with Kursed it will pretty much mean that they don't want her to be with Fox/remain part of Star Fox team. In other words, it will mean that there will no longer be that Krystal from Adventures/Assault we all know.

Yeah I know. Only if there's a moment when Wolf betrays her I guess, she'll probably be crawling back. But I don't see it happening.

Besides Kursed no longer works with Star Wolf so I am not sure Wolf can play any role here.

Yeah that ending was dumb. Fox not recognizing Krystal must mean the seen hundreds of blue vixens everyday for years.

Those blue vixens are everywhere! Hard to remember each one's face. Either that or I can't imagine how much could Krystal's look change if he failed to recognise her.

Ah yes, I remember this one! Still dramatic, but nice one. I also remember another little comic/sketch by Blackbear972, though I couldn't find the link. It was reimagination of that scene where Fox doesn't recognise her but she decides to reveal herself to him. Little idealistic but sweet.

I did recently read a five-and-a-half chapter fanfic called "6 days and 23 hours" it takes place five years after Command. It's about Kursed suffering a terminal illness that gives her a week to live, she's trying her hardest to find Fox a apologize and make peace with him before she dies.
It's probably the best Kursed stories I've read.

Fox was also dying from a huge cut on his shoulder; that he didn't know it was infected until four days later, which also took that long for Kursed to reach Lylat. She finally found him alone at a diner with two drinks for himself and her because he misses her so much. He couldn't believe she came, so they sat together at a part, apologizing to each other. Fox mentions that he was going to propose to her, and Kursed says that she'd never loved again after Fox, and also her telepath abilities are starting to weaken. They made their way to his apartment; they lay next to each other in his bed sharing their final minutes to each other until they finally met their end :,(

Both heartbreaking and somehow heartwarming at the same time... everything lost because of their own mistakes but at least they got a chance for one final reunion...

Indeed... I think I am not going to read it, even though I believe it is good. I am less eager to read/watch such tragic stories nowadays.

I remember Ace Pilot Krystal; I believe I seen that 2 years ago.

I know! Author had to change the music at one moment because of IP problems, but in the end problem was solved and they brought original music back.
I like that video:) Author later made "Slippery situation" video and there is also earlier "Wolf vs Krystal" animation by him.
Fox's Dirty Secret is a SF pardoy by Mashed, which is rather fun, but I didn't like that they used "Krystal in Star Wolf" trope (though video itself seem to take place during Star Fox 64?)
