OMG! Was this a piece to work on. I admit, I am not entirely happy with it, but that's mostly because 1) I'm not used to lighting I used in the picture, 2) the candles just suck. Well, the candles themselves are nice, but the light coming from them... is just weird. Anyway, so enough of me complaining about my work and I'll tell you what it's actually about!

This drawing was concieved at AFF. It is Rikard (the bat) playing video games with Korinna (the squirrel). It is as Rikard's studio apartment, which is why they are sitting on the bed (no room for chairs!). It also explains the Swedish Olympic Hockey Team's jersey hanging on Rikard's wall (he's Swedish, Korinna is German-American). I think this is my most detailed drawing ever and actually one of the most complex to colour, since the blue hue is coming from the TV screen and it's relatively darker than what I normally colour. Hmmm... I might post a pre-lighting verson of this in my scraps. I'm not sure yet. Let me know what you think of it, first.
