Early in Grey's 'life'- far into the point where they had descended down the rabbit hole of their new identity- taking anti magic narcotics in order to hide that feeling inside of them and to whittle away any remaining traces of a draconic or lupine form.
But early on, it would be difficult to maintain- thinking they wouldn't need to smoke it any more, and their magic being completely gone. Grey would become alarmed and frightened by the reappearance of fur and a form she tried to forget. Running off to a side alley before anyone could notice, she digs in her pockets in a panic to find she still had one last cigarette left-
Taking a long drag, the anti-magic effect being enough to stamp out the flicker of magic emerging and return to a completely human form with a puff. The bare skin being more a comfort than ever now. She sighed before taking one more puff for safety- looking forward to the day she wouldn't have to worry about her magic ever returning.
But for now, she needed another drink.
