You know who I haven't seen enough of lately? Illas, the giant ferret. Wonder what he's got up to ... oh! There he is, right overhead, and reaching to see if the moon's in grabbing range. That clears things up!

Huge thanks to  illogical for letting me play with one of his biggest ideas. I just realized minutes ago I forgot to draw his boots. Maybe they're being mended.

Tried a different way of drawing a starry background. This one is actually the simulated charcoal tool, which is an interesting coincidence since the Moon is about as reflective as a piece of charcoal. (The night sky is just that dark!) I like the way it looks; it's even less 'realistic' than the spots-of-light pen I was using, but it's got the vibe of a starry background.
