This simple but heartfelt sketch is a tribute to my recent, first time RL meeting with 
bluecollie55, while travelling through his part of the world.
We have admired one another's art for a long time and even traded characters, but now that I know him as a genuine man, I feel like we have both made a positive difference to one another. I hope he will come and visit me someday, and that I will repeat our shared experience quite soon.
The picture is also a tribute to the picture book Friends by Helme Heine, and in particular, its beautiful conclusion, where 3 farm animals who couldn't practically spend the night in one another's home, still dream about one another, as fond friends do.
Blue himself belongs to Blue Collie 55, used with his permission. Kenzie is my character.
