tankz745 of his character Zarla. Another rare case of being commissioned to do something more detailed than flat color work. Honestly, that kind of art tends to be more satisfying in the long run to make. Anywho, her design is loosely based on Mistral from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. But I was allowed to tinker with the design quite a bit and used some elements of the plug suits from Neon Genesis Evangelion as well. The gun design is one of Tankz' creations, with some adjustments to the color palette to better match up with Zarla.
I'm pretty pleased with how she turned out. Granted, drawings like these always take longer than I'd expect. But it is satisfying to learn more.
