A dashing-looking 18 inch tall white-furred fox toy - or he looks like he would have been 20 years ago. While his clothing and fabric are well kept, it has the raggedy edge of years. The only thing immaculate is his tail.

Duke Flufftail was the last possession of his owner, Benny. Benny was orphaned when his family, nobles from Absolom, were visiting Mechitar, the capital of the Undead-majority nation of Geb, and Benny escaped into the streets. Born from a wish for companionship, Duke Flufftail originally was a Lawful Good Heroic personality, but to survive slowly became more Chaotic Good to help Benny survive. This lasted for a number of years, until Benny - now a young man - sold the poppet. Without telling Duke Flufftail he'd been sold.

That broke Duke's heart and innocence, and after eventually getting out of the situation, started looking out for himself.

It's been about a decade now, and Duke Flufftail can feel himself start to fray beyond what healing and repairs can handle. He's focused on getting enough coin to live out his last days in luxury. What thoughts he has to his former owner, Benny, are that of scorn - if he's alive, Duke hopes that Benny is miserable, but otherwise doesn't care to check.

At campaign start he owes a favor to Blood Lord Berline, who has called it in.

Reyn actually suggested the button eye and I found it awesome enough to keep. Mechanically, it works just as well as his normal eye, its just... a button.
