(Note: Not to be confused with my Ruby Dilla, although she was initially based off this character's design)
Name: Ruby Dragoness, formerlly Ed
Age: 37
Species: Desert Kitsune Dragon
Story: Ed was a teenaged Desert Kitsune who lived in the desert along with a nest of sand worms.
One day two dragonesses had managed to stumble upon his home, being Terra and Artess Dragoness. After clearing a slight misunderstanding and talking, the three became good friends. However, what Ed didn't tell them was that he was suffering from a disease called Golemism, which causes his body to gradually turn to stone.
Time passed, and Ed was prepared to pass away at any moment. However, one of the sandworms couldn't just let his master die and have the Dragoness sisters not know of it. Against Ed's wishes, he brought the two over to Ed. Out of desperation to save him, Artess wanted to change Ed into a dragon using her blood (Artess herself bacame a dragoness with Terra's Blood), in hopes it would save his life.
It did, and it worked, although soon after his recovery it was revealed that transformation went through an odd turn, as Ed was now not only female, but of a considerably larger size.
The magical effects of the blood can alter ones body through the persons desires and wishes. One thing Ed had admired about the girls were that they were big and strong, while he was small and dying. This, plus the size difference between Artess and Ed (not that Artess was fat. She was just considerably larger) caused the blood's effect to multiply.
Another unexpected turn was that, in the transition between sexes, "she" was now pregnant.
Also, Ed (now referring to herself as Ruby) tended to go through mood swings. Nothing major, though.
After Ruby's child, Hikaru, was born, Ruby grew even larger, reaching a height of nearly 10 feet, as well as a massive girth and weight (as a good chunk of her body is still stone).
When Hikaru was 15, she was in an accident with Terra involving her eyes being cut by Terra's sword. Ruby was furious with Terra, while Hikaru ran away due to how unforgiving Ruby was.
About 7 years later, Ruby remains in the desert with her sandworms. Although she still sees Artess on occasion, she hadn't seen Terra since the arguement. A part of her can't forgive Terra, as well as herself for driving her daughter away. It is this alone that keeps her from making amends with Terra, no matter how much Ruby misses her.
Abilities: Not that I purposely did this as a reference, but if I could quickly describe Ruby's abilities, it would be "Toph Styled Earthbending turned up 3 notches".
Quirks: Aside from the occasional mood swings, Ruby is a Metrosexual of sorts, at times being very, very infatuated with her body. This doesn't cause her to be outwardly vain, but anyone who knows her even for a bit knows she loves herself a lot.
Where do I begin with her? I guess I'll kind of skim over it all.
Ruby (Whom I generally refer to as "Ruby Ed") is a combination of two of my characters, being Ed (a.k.a. Hedgechinda) and Ruby. Yes, Ed is another of those sonic fan characters a fifth grader generally makes. In my defense... I was in fifth grade when I made him. I just never got rid of him. And Ruby is loosely based off the Sly Cooper boss (I thought she was kinda hot back in the day, even though I never played the games.)
Ed had gotten a bit more use over the years than Ruby. I eventually decided to radically change Ed, and try out a relatively new route for myself: Transgender (beforehand, I've only had one other TG character, and it was a failed Terra Variant).
One of the designs made, based off of Virus-20's Dillia character, became her own character as Ruby Dilla, while Ruby-Ed remained her own character.
I actually do have more to say on this but I did a lot of typing tonight already and I don't want *this* description to go on too long.
