Practice. Referenced from an image, so nothing new. Once I finished the pencil I realized a lot of the bam of the style comes from the inking, so I tried to mimic it with a pencil. About halfway through when it wasn't turning out I just figured feck it. Anyway, got a bit of a feeling for weight from doing this, going to need a lot more training obviously... but that's what 10,000 hours are for.
