I have wanted a Deathclaw character for such a long time, but have struggled with developing a believable character. With much help and brainstorming with
EliteWakefulWoodland, Gerrith was born. I attempted to make him within the boundaries of Fallout universe, with maybe a few caviats here and there. If you're interested in the story I developed for him, take a read below!
Background:
Born to the harsh wastelands known as the Commonwealth, Gerrith is a Deathclaw, born with increased intelligence thanks to FEV genes passed on to him by his parents. His FEV Genes grants him the ability to speak and think freely, though from his quiet and untrusting nature of others, you would think of him as any other Deathclaw. However, gain his trust, and you'll learn that he is well articulated in speech and savvy at repair for electronics, including Power Armor. Gaining his trust can be difficult, unless you happen to have a four legged companion by your side, then he'll happily approach you to get a closer!
His robotic prothestic arm houses nearly as much strength as his clawed right, being able to swiftly destroy most walls and opponents who dare get close. For those who aren't "lucky" enough to be clawed and crushed by his hands, may find themselves on the end of his Shishkabeb-modified Bumper Sword. Those he finds a true threat may find Gerrith barrelling towards them in his X-01 Power Armor.
Outside of combat, Gerrith is often learning more about Power Armor; their strengths, weaknesses, and how to restore them properly; and tinkering with his own armor while surrounded by his "family" of dogs surrounding him, including his close friend, Jager (who will get a reference later down the line, and I will talk about in detail later). Gerrith also has a sweet tooth for Nuka Cola, especially Nuka Cola Quantum. Consuming any amount of Quantum will cause Gerrith to start glowing an electric blue color, and resembling a Quantum Deathclaw from Nuka World.
Weapons:
Anti-Material Rifle modded for Deathclaw usage, with "pistol" and rifle configurations.
Bumper Sword with Shishkebab, giving the ability to ignite the sword and threats ablaze.

Gerrith lost his arm as a result of a bunch of Raiders trying to pillage his junkyard that he lives in. The Raiders were FAR more equipped than he was expecting, one of them bringing a rocket launcher that ends up blowing his arm off, damaging his left horn and scarring the leftside of his body. Gerrith obviously managed to live, and fight them back... but lost the arm in the process. I'd like to think that the Raiders who did that also took his arm as a trophy.
As for the second question, Jager is not the responsible party. :B Gerrith and Jager are just very good friends. Jager is aromantic. Gerrith probably ended up with that belly bump as a result of some kind of impregnation experiment that he manages to get signed up for in the near future... or someone else is responsible for his babies. 👀
