Something that is burned my mind is seeing that style of portrait in the sample book I was flipping through at a photography studio, and discovering that in that case it was marketed under the name "DIMENSIONS"- I found it so awesome there was the idea behind it that some people are too deep to be seen or understood in the single dimension of a traditional protrait.

in other news, i can completely envision this being the title/menu screen for the action RPG collection quest game of Joogg Cubet. somehow those games always have title screens showing the young hero in domestic repose
