Hello Extra-Element19,
If I had to be honest, I’ve found it very difficult to narrow it down to one comic/story so I’ve decided to include my top five as shown below:
Season 1:
I feel this Season worked well as an introductory season and does a good job of establishing the Managers and creating the foundations from which they would develop as characters as the series progressed.
New Zoo-Zebras:
I really like my rewrite of this story turned out. It really fleshed out the Cullens and the ideas which were already present within the story (Ian’s friendship with Jacob).
I also feel that this story did an excellent job of establishing the tone of the series moving forward. This was best shown in the fact that Beth (a 9 year old girl) was treated no different than any other victim and was not spared from her fate as an animal. (This for me, really sells the ‘Equal Opportunity Evil’ the Managers operate from which, for me, has become an increasingly important character trait of theirs.)
I feel this has now become a staple of the earlier episodes of New Zoo and its become one of my favourites in the series which I’m still really proud of because of this.
I also think Rex’s comic adaptation of it was absolutely fantastic and one of her best.
Season 2:
I like Season 2 in the fact that it began to deconstruct the New Zoo in that the Managers began to suffer consequences for their carelessness (particularly in how they handled the school children in School Trip which in turn, lead to the awakening of the Spirit.)
I also like how this season ‘planted the seeds’ such as Elizabeth and Charlotte’s friendship becoming increasingly difficult (Setting the stage for Elizabeth’s friendship with the Spirit in Season 3)
In addition, the early mentions of the Local Printing Company (as some of the parents of the school children worked for it) would also pay off with the Poster introduced in Season 3 and peaking with New Zoo-Chickens in the same season.
New Zoo-Sheep:
This was another story which greatly benefited from its rewrite. Sheep are one of my favourite animal TFs to read and I feel as if I did it justice with my own story.
I particularly like the addition of Clara and how her own desires for a family worked alongside the Zoo’s magic to transform George, Klaire & Angelica and feel as if this helped it stand out compared to several of the other transformations throughout the series.
I also feel this story, as well as the others in Season 2, did a good job of showcasing the overall tone of the series. (Especially in how the parents are separated from their children in School Trip)
I likewise find the comic adaptation by Rex to be pretty stellar and is one of my favourites amongst the ones she done for me.
Season 3:
Before I begin with the below, I hold Season 3 in high regard because this is the point where the story arc began to have greater importance to the series.
I feel that this is the major thing that helps ‘New Zoo’ stand out from other series with the same setting as I acknowledge that a Zoo transforming people into animals isn’t particularly original.
New Zoo-Family Pass:
I really like how this one came together and how accomplished I felt upon completing it.
To date, this story is still the longest I’ve ever done clocking in around 19,500 words and I really like the alternative perspectives I covered regarding Caitlyn’s and Travis’s parents and making their reluctance/willingness believable.
I’m also am very grateful to Tomhur for giving me the idea and collaborating on this one with me. If it wasn’t for him, Caitlyn wouldn’t be as developed a character as she has now become as of Season 4. (He’s suggested the main premise of the idea and is also responsible for the creation of Travis, Caitlyn’s boyfriend)
This story is also responsible for what I consider her central character trait (Guilt) which I have big plans for how this affects her during Season 4.
Once again, I just really like this story and think it does a really good job of being the ‘calm before the storm’ leading into the endgame of Season 3.
New Zoo-Origins:
I really enjoyed writing this one. It was great to finally answer the long awaited mystery of Diana’s past as well as setting the stage for the Managers to make their grand comeback against the heroes of the series.
It was really fun to go back into Diana’s past and I feel I did a really good job in bringing it to life. Tomhur also assisted in suggesting to add Natasha from my ‘Magical Consequences’ series as Diana’s sister since I’ve come to really enjoy their sibling dynamic which I intend to explore further in Season 4.
I also enjoyed how this story put the Spirit in a completely powerless position for once and I feel this was an interesting inversion compared to the other episodes in the series.
This was shown particularly in the mindscape scene with Charlotte and how she basically had the Spirit dead to rights after everything it put her through to that point
It also demonstrates just how deadly Charlotte can be when not handicapped and shows why she’s a member of the Managers despite being weaker in magic.
Finally, I really like how both halves of this story come together in how they tackle what I consider one of the central themes of the series (The Consequences Of Poor Communication).
I feel this was indicated well in the fact that Diana in the past and Amanda in the present both failed as a result of not communicating with the people who cared about them and pressing on despite their doubts. (I consider this as the major reason why the heroes ultimately lose against the Managers at the end of the series.)
This is in contrast to how the Managers finally stop being stubborn and begin to properly communicate with each other which I feel brought great character development to the group which is in turn carried over into Season 4.
Overall, I just really enjoyed putting this one together and am very proud of how it turned out and how everything came together.
And last but not least:
New Zoo-Jaguars:
I’m really fond of this one due to the milestone it represents. (I initially planned this to be the finale to the whole series)
To be honest, I feel the fact that I got this far was quite the personal achievement which I’m still proud of myself for doing.
I also like how this story continues with the previously mentioned central theme of the consequences of poor communication which is ultimately, what spells the heroes doom and is, in my opinion, the main reason why they fail.
I really like the ‘sequel hook’ I left in the form of Sakura who gets her first appearance here. I have big plans for her as I continue Season 4 which I don’t wish to spoil.
Finally, I’m particularly proud of the fact that I was willing and able to commit to the ‘downer ending’ of this story. Just the fact that the heroes completely and irreparably lose here with the Managers completely victorious over them.
Overall, I particularly like the above stories and am proud of them for capturing the main aspects of the series in both tone and what I consider the central themes of the Series.
Season 4:
In regards to Season 4, I don’t have a current particular favourite which stands out but I am proud of how all of them have come together to this point and think they are all of rather good quality.
I’ll come back to this question once I’ve done more of/completed Season 4.
In conclusion, I enjoyed and am proud of quite a few of my stories for different reasons which I feel capture my intended main themes of the series and help establish the overall series tone.
(If you’ve read this far, thank you for taking time out of my day/night to read my thoughts)

Wow.
When I asked that question I expected a somewhat small answer followed by 1 or 2 reasons why you liked it. I did not expect this, however I am glad that you went into detail and gave your favorites out of the entire series thus far. Some of these are some of my favorites as well. My personal favorite out of the series is actually Family Pass. I remember when it first came out it took me a while to finish it. In fact I think it took me nearly 3 hours to finish reading it because for some reason I kept being called elsewhere. I greatly enjoyed the different perspectives and the thoughts of all the characters.
Thank you very much for answering my questions and taking the time to give a detailed response.
As always, looking forward to more in the future.

Hello Scptrain,
Since Marie embraced her transformation into a cow, she has retained her full human mind despite her physical changes.
Despite this, Marie can be prone to acting up when overwhelmed due to her cow instincts occasionally getting the better of her.
I hope the above answers your question.

Hello Scptrain,
Marie is producing milk as a result of the Zoo's magic causing her to lactate as part of her transformation.
The Reason why the Zoo has done this is so that, when the Zoo opens to the public, Marie producing milk can be used to demonstrate to children and educate them where milk comes from.
I hope the above answers your question.
