This was a random prompt I had come up with a while back. Mostly since Sailor Mercury is pretty water-based just turning her into various sealife is a pretty open door and you don't see too many octopus TFs so it felt like an interesting thing to attempt. I felt somewhat inspired for a few aspects of this image, though the enlarging head combined with the bulging eyes felt a bit uncanny; though I felt it worked with the general concept. This uncanny feeling actually felt like it loosened me up a little bit more, less afraid to make it look awkward since it already was, so I could try a little bit more than usual where I just worry too much. In general the image was a lot of fun to work with; hopefully the result isn't too off-putting.
