Not the biggest fan of 5-toed designs on anthro characters. It can work at times, but I prefer the classic 4-toed design for anthros.

Haha yeah, 4 toed paws usually spread better but unique toe wiggles are cooler on 5 toe paws/feet imo. By unique I mean really unique wiggles lol, a friend of mine can move his second toe side by side and place his pinky toe over the fourth one, it's pretty wild hahahah

Oh no hahahah he's the only guy I know who can do that. I saw some videos on youtube where some people could move the fourth toe on top of the middle one and it seems a very rare skill. Unexpectedly fun party trick though hahah

haaa the famous moment where you look at your characters than are now pretty old and tell yourself "Hmmm...it's time for some disign change!". I know this moment too much as myself have do it multiple time X3.... My ferret Hake changed disign a lot before I found "the perfect" one and most recently my most old OC Fouxy and luna knew a total change with theyr disign, change I'm pretty happy with and think it will be definitive now UwU.

However I understand your feeling here, it have characters than are okay with 5 toes and some than are not but again it depend of "the kind" of character it is so if it's "human-like" or "nthro-like".

Take a Bear for exemple, these have 5 toes but you can draw them with 3 or 4 (like in cartoon and even Zootopia) but Bears have "naturaly" 5 toes however the diff between a bear and kylian is than a bear is an animal and Kylian is an anthro-character so it change evrything XD.

All that for said than, on my personal taste, an "anthro" character must keep his "animal natur" so basicly :
-Have an animal-like face
-Have an animal-like ears
-Have a tail and animal-ears
-HAVE animal-like PAWS.

So it must keep different from a "human" and by that I mean than other than if the "animal" have naturaly 5 toes (raccoon, ferret, weasel, monkey, otter, rat, mouse and all otehr 5-toes animal) give him 4 toes feet will still look better than 5 toes.

However in the case of Kylian than I don't know "wich" specy he is ( if he is from any specy at least XD) it's difficult to said if he must have 4 or 5 but for my personal tastes, I far away prefer him with his cute 4 big clawed-toes :P how to said... it "feet" him better X3... Plus it's keep funny when these wiggling behind a feather UwU. However in a non-fetish story it will give him a "cool" and "wild" look so my choice is on the 4 toes~~

But still it was fun to read all tehse dialogs Xss !! personaly I no found them annoying at all, I even think is what give the "scene" a funny look and have appeal me at first X3 ( yeah the dialogs have appeal me more than the feet OwO... maybe I become a text-fetish ??....kiding I was appealed by boths X3).

Your way to make interaction have actualy make me laugh cause everything "feet" perfectly ! It's fun to read, it's well found and the most important, it's easy to imagin Kylian's face behind XD !
Also I loved the fact Kylian found himself "ugly" with 5 toes XD it already show you his "personal" choice X3... But he is, unfortunatly, at YOUR mercy so it's you at the end than will decide..

Howeve rsomething will probably help you to decide and poor kylyan will suffer cause more toes=more area to "tease"=more tools can be used=more giggles hehe... Looking forward for the next part, keep up the funny and great work my friend !

Thanks for your detailed answer! I tend to forget some animals do have 5 fingers/toes, and I've almost always drawn anthros with only 4 at their feet!
I'm pretty certain now I'll go back to the 4 toes design, plus Kylian is not really based on any species: I'd be pretty incapable of saying what kind of animal he is! XD A bit of cat here, a bit of fennec fox there...

It’s will be annoying if people want to see your toe. Yeah I’ll be annoyed if beg me for my toe but geez if you want it so much then just find other people who want to show there toe.

Well, since I (the artist) and Kylian are actually separate entities, Kylian is not really talking to himself!
However, canon-wise, he might indeed be some sort of lovecraftian entity, but that's a secret!
