(AKA "Catty Can't Shade")
A rokurokubi ("Pulley neck") is a yo-kai with the appearance of women, but when their bodies go to sleep, their necks stretch out to incredible lengths and roam around, spooking unsuspecting passersby, drinking lantern oil, eating small animals, or even biting people to death and sucking their blood like a vampire... and return to the shoulders the next morning with no memory of their activity. Rokurokubi were indeed women in life, but this state is often linked to the sins of their fathers or sometimes even their own. How did Lien-Da fall under this curse?
I think we've hit a Halloween theme...
