Cozy walked into the kitchen and seeing her mom made her feel funny, "hello". she lowered her gaze finding the table fascinating.
"COZY IS THAT YOU", Her stepfather grabbed her up bear hugging her as if she were made of iron, "I am so happy to see you baby girl", cozy smiled holding her tears in as she held on for dear life.
"I missed you too daddy", she nearly gasped as a stone-faced mama snatched her away and held her like a little girl holding her favorite doll, "I'm sorry baby girl", her mom sniffed," I'm so very sorry I sent you away". again cozy gasped while her arms automatically held on to her mom," I forgive you, mama, I had a good life with granny".
the sibs watched carefull not to be seen.
"When do you think they're gonna tell her?", snuggy asked, "They can't wait too long I wanna get this over with".
mango shushed her, "let them have their moment would you, thought you were supposed to be a comfort monster".
"yea", chimed in Blitzen," isn't stuff like this your thing?".
"you mean our thing blitz?", she glared, "your a confidence monster, And you", she glared at mango, "your a boogie man stuff like this should sicken you not encourage". Yule snapped at them glaring at all of them.
"shut up will you they just told her the news".
"How did she take it?", they asked in unison.
"she took it well it seems, ok guy's time to pack who knows when we're gonna leave".
Around bedtime just as cozy settled down to sleep her door opened up with a small jolt,
"so cozy I heard they...told you..", he coughed as the red glaring eyes tore through him," and I was wondering when we were gonna leave but I see you busy so um bye", shakily he fumbled for her door slamming it shut.
"dumbarse".
"welp, that just happened better go before she kills me".
