A new flavor of ice cream came out, and it's a limited edition seasonal flavor! Cheekers just has to have it! Dabbird's still on the fence if it was worth the trip or not.

Day Eleven: (Prompts used: “Gourmand”, “Priority”)
“So you want to travel halfway across the state… to try a new flavor of ice cream?” Dabbird asked Cheekers, confused as all hell, “I hate to say it bro, but we have ice cream at home.”
“You don’t get it! It’s a new flavor based on a seasonal taste! It’s not every day that Jen & Barry’s announces a flavor, and a limited-time seasonal flavor at that!” Cheekers squeaked with excitement, that’s how you got him, all you had to do was announce that you had created a limited-time or a mystery flavor, and you had the rat hook, like, and sinker.
“I still don’t know why we just can’t pick some up at the store, then. As fun as having a cone at one of their actual scoop shops can be, I don’t want to be driving around for too long with fuel prices the way they are and everything.”
“Don’t worry,” Cheekers said, looking at his phone, “the nearest shop that carries this flavor is just a short drive away, it’s just a couple of cities over! I’ll reimburse you for fuel,”
After an hour and a half of driving on the freeway and dodging afternoon traffic, they finally reached the shop and were able to try the flavor.
“You know, having Cinnamon, Pumpkin Spice, and Eggnog flavors in the same ice cream mix very well, especially if you put chocolate sprinkles on it. What do you think, Dabbird?”
“I wouldn’t know, I just got Cinnamon Bun flavor, like I usually do.” They quipped back.
“Well, would you like to try mine, then?” Cheekers offered, holding out the cone to his friend, “Just a taste, and then we can go home.”
Dabbird didn’t say anything, and just shrugged. While it wasn’t exactly worth the trip, it was an interesting flavor combination… just one that could have waited until it hit Supermarket shelves...
