this is a free verse poem I'm wrote for english class...so It's nothing special




You were the only person I ever cared for
Now I have nothing
Nothing
I’ve strived to show you I can change
But you refuse to believe
Refuse
Even when it ended I still wanted to be a friend
But you threw it away
And now there is nothing (How it will remain)
Everything I have done to make it right
Has just ended in sorrow
Not for you…but for me
Me
Someone that has taken so much and can’t get rid
Can’t get rid of the memories that haunt me
Me
You
But yet nobody
Will you ever see the light of day?
Can you look deep into the remains of what was once a heart?
Look deep and find you?
Find the ‘you’ that I used to love?
The ‘you’ that I once saw?
It seems as though you just say ‘no’

NO!
