YAY bettas!
I have two lovely boys, I keep meaning to watercolor images of 'em. Because really, watercolor is the best medium for fish. ;)

I agree! I am so tempted to do a ton of watercolor fish, just because. I think when I get a new set of high-contrast watercolors I just may have to do that. :)

I keep meaning to sketch that out as well, it's amazing how they can turn their bodies and 'dance'. :) And the bubble nests are just fantastic as well!
