So here we have another pic of my Vidari (giant fennec) character Zh’kel, last seen here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/46976976/, with his headless girlfriend/mate, Lydia, walking around Station L4. Zh’kel, having spent just a bit too much time on Bermuda and Reunion, has opted to remain in the halfcut form for a bit longer, but honestly who knows if he’ll ever turn back ^_^”
Lydia, a Terran horse humanthro, and a character I was planning on introducing in another pic, is from a village in Chile known as La Ciudad Dulla, or Dullahan City. With a field similar to that of the Halfcut Islands, rather than turning everyone into halfcuts, it simply removes everyone’s head. Anyone born there, including Lydia, is permanently headless. In cases like this though, they can control “blank” heads, like the one she’s carrying in her arms, to make communication easier with non-telepathically gifted people.
There will be a much more detailed description of the town later, as well as their relationship ^_^

Interesting, though it's surprising "Dullahan City" would be located in Ireland, where the Dullahan myth originates from. Maybe there's another town there with a magic field that just removes people's necks :P I guess there are more places on Earth with transformative magic field shenanigans...
Though, if they're permanently headless, how do they get their nutrients?

Heh so “La Ciudad Dulla” isn’t its original name, nor is the field affecting it old.
To give some background ahead of the next pic featuring it, this was created purely as a tourist attraction in the 60s, to boost tourism to the region and be used for a couple upcoming movies. Much in the same way Júzcar, Spain was painted Smurf blue in the 2000s ^_^
La Ciudad Dulla was both the name of one of the movies, and was just a fitting name, even without being in the right region lol
All the residents agreed with the idea, opting to loose their heads for good in exchange for the global publicity. Any who didn’t agree, simply left the area.
As for nourishment, they have four possible ways: a small throat hole in their neck; magic sustenance; “having fun” if you know what I mean; or simply using one of these “blank heads” outside city limits.
