Thank you so much for doing this, I appreciate everything here. Her expression, the lighting, how her base outfit's obviously for flashier songs.
And in case anyone's curious, a little bit of what's going on (though a little lite on the world setting's deeper lore):
Tick lost her mothers in "the Everwind disaster" when she was twenty. The tour director landed the luxury airship too far from the safety of a Ruin when the young and hopeful dreamscape it was touring suffered an abrupt collapse. None of the crew or passengers on board survived, as Dreamspinners need to be in a Ruin or otherwise leave a collapsing dreamscape to avoid what is believed to be the single most painful way for a Dreamspinner to die. The ship was landed at a distance that would have been safe if the dreamscape's energies had given an optimal 2 hours warning, but situations aren't always optimal.
The Everwind's duplicate was found crashed with her hull cracked in two, presumably as the dream energy that her engines could harvest rapidly fell below what was needed to keep herself aloft prior to the Dream's collapse proper. Belongings of crew and passengers were where they'd been when the duplication happened, just prior to the last agonizing minutes as the collapsing dreamscape dissolved.
Tick, a twenty year old singer-songwriter at the time, penned and performed "Crack the Everwind" initially as part of a campaign to reform tour industry practices. It's still part of many of her set lists today, a sorrowful reminder to exercise caution even when things seem perfectly fine.
