Well she's using a bone so she's trying to catch some bonefish. Obviously!

Thank you! Tbh I always think these pictures could have been done better, for various reasons. This one for instance, among other mistakes I had drawn the fox too low on the paper and didn't have much room for the uh, water-creature. I cropped out a lot of the top of the page since it was left blank, but the creature's lower row of teeth and eyes were drawn on the very bottom of the paper. Then again, I hadn't decided to even put a big creature in the water until I'd sketched out the fox. Poor planning on my part! My original idea was for the fishing line to drop straight down until reaching the bottom of the page, then sharply turn right and then turn up at the right edge, where the hook ends up in the air behind her and in the mouth of a flying fish :') I came this close to going with that idea instead of what you see here. Oh well, maybe I can still use that idea later!
