Leaving T'vao and obtaining her own ship was only the start for Nex, the dangers of solo space travel meant that a proper EVA suit was an essential piece of equipment. Geared more for salvaging and EVA work than outright combat, Nex's armor is built from the scavenged armor plating of numerous species adjusted and refitted for her.

Its primary components consist of:

-A base layer pressure suit
-The "legally obtained" chest armor and environmental systems of a T'vaoan Murmillo
-Off the shelf commercial human upper arm plates
-Scavenged gauntlets from a Sangheili spec-ops combat harness
-Thigh pads from black market ODST armor parts
-The lower leg armor and boots from a Ruutian snipers armor, "won" in a bar fight
-And finally a helmet comprised of the lower half of an Ibe'shan rangers helmet, fitted and sealed to the top half of a T'vaoan champions face plate.
