I call myself a Cartoonist rather than an Artist because to my mind 'art' is fine paintings and sculpture and the like. Also, capital A 'Art' tends to be as pretentious as it is subjective. Had I drawn this figure completely nude, it would be considered Art. Ironically, by giving her cover, this image 'falls' into the category of "crass, commercial art" which if Artists were honest is what pays the bills so they can devote themselves to creating Art.
