Dan Creedon had just moved to Beach City, Delmarva. He was looking around to familiarize his surroundings since he's far from his hometown Pennsylnati. He left his hometown to start his own life since had lived with his parents for 30 years. His three older sisters Jackie, Sierra, and Suzie moved out and got married. Two of them even have children and Dan was proud of being their uncle. He like having a life of own, but he is rather lonely. He hopes that day he'll meet the man to spend his life with.

That night at the car wash, Greg was laying in his van as he gets ready to sleep. It has been 13 years since his lover Rose Quartz gave up her physical form to give birth to their son, Steven. Greg had raised Steven for 13 years until he moved in with the Crystal Gems who were close friends of Rose Quartz. Although Steven does visit his dad sometimes, Greg missed living with his son. Greg knew that living with the Gems was for his son's own good as Steven had inherited his mother's gemstone which gives him a variety of magical powers and the Crystal Gems had to train him and teach him about Gem history. Greg misses Rose so much that he never tried dating again, she was too special for him to move on from.

Little did both Dan and Greg know, that they were destined to meet and be together.

(Pennsylnati is combination of Pennsylvania and Cincinnati, Keystone the SU version of Pennsylvania. I live right next to downtown Cincinnati across the Ohio river, so I thought that me and my family would've lived in Keystone in the world of Steven Universe, instead of Kentucky in the real world. That way it wouldn't take long to travel from Kentucky to Delmarva.)
