A blast from the past of gryphonic culture - at least in my little crazy world. ;)
Tayas concept exist in two ways - one for a more modern to sci-fi setting, and one around the classical age. Think Babylon, Messapotemia and the likes. Hanging gardens, agriculture and the mysterie of brewing beer - all stuff the gryphons in this world would have figured quicker or a bit more efficient than the others. Their roots would have been in more arid territory.
While quite defensive about their waterways and fountains, gryphons helped caravans and travellers through the deserts - for the right price. Or agreement.
Clans, Noble Houses and Kingdoms rise and fall. Yet at least for now, at the moment of the pic, things seem to be running good for house Sahar.
