I'm still trying to learn how to draw flat characters that look reasonable and  breakerfa was kind enough to let me smooth Deeter out a bit for it.

I'm not satisfied yet, and I'm wondering if I have to do a trick like draw the character regularly and then use distortion tools to give them a weird aspect. On the other hand, the arms folding back roughly worked. I also need to figure out more curves that I can let the drawing tablet smooth out for me; doing that second layer to suggest some flat depth (you know what I mean) was the really challenging piece.
