Very few are lucky enough to be invited to the yearly Prey Race: An obstacle course filled with ravenous predators, ready to gulp you down to waste your time. Either you win, or you get eaten, so it's really a win-win. But if you want the grand prize, you'll have to resist the temptation to go diving into maws!

This is both willing and unwilling because the POV character loves getting eaten, but is still trying very hard to avoid that.
