Making my way down to actually finish the area around the first eye. This represents three full squares of stitches on the pattern plus a little bit extra on top. This is also the last column of squares on the first page, so the next column will be a bit of extra work switching back and forth to make sure it comes out right. The loose threads on the right side are just threads that I've finished and have not fastened down yet on the back.
