They are the chill in the changing air, the breeze that drops the falling leaves and the whisper threw the branches that nips back the green and bring on the gold. Orchard is a fae, lord or lady or somewhere betwixt does not matter to them. What matters to them in the coming of the season and the preparing for winter. They walk the glades and the groves, the burrows and the knolls, the cliffs and forests, fens and river bends and the moors. And wherever they go they bring Fest and Brightness, fanfare and welcome, a final Harrah and then deep slumber. Orchard is a fae of gaiety and wicked whimsy of haunted hours and delightfully mischief. But they take their roll in Arcadia and beyond very seriously. It is The Stormlight's role to see that all is prepped and made ready for winter. To make sure harvests are brought in on time and to see that the people are hurried along in their prepping. To give them one last bright Bang before things get cold. But it is also their job to see the land finds rest. To tuck in the earth and whisper lullabies to the threes. To make sure that all are ready before winter Takes what winter will take. Orchard does their best with the whimsy and they are certainly Good at putting on an Event. Be it haunting or delightful. But deeper down they are still and stoic, calm and stately. They are here to bring all things to rest so the world can wake up Renewed and not exhausted from the weathered winter. They will not pressure those that choose to press on threw the cold. But they will help the land that needs it's time of peace and quiet solace.
