To be honest, I cried. I didn't watch my hair go. I just put on my hat and went home. I was embarrassed to show myself to my best friend. When she saw me she cried but said I looked beautiful. I asked her about makeup because I was still afraid to look at myself in the mirror.
She took a couple of photos and I realized that not everything is so terrible, but on the contrary, I'm amazing

I don’t know if it helps but: Remember it’s just hair. And once this is done it’ll come back
Extra bonus a friend of mine gave herself when she was doing chemo: Now I can have different hair every day if I buy some pretty wigs and no maintenance!!
You look gorgeous and I am glad you could handle seeing and posting the pics. Stay strong, you got this!!!

You are definitely beautiful. I can't relate on having cancer but can on the mental struggles of how much major health issues ruin our self esteem and worth. You are amazing, but please remember that if you need to cry again that is okay too. It is a big deal; you just are a bigger deal than it. I wish you happiness and as smooth of a health journey as possible.
