Scared Little Pup

You ventured into my domain and came upon my cave.
The entance was blocked by a wall of ice and was cold to the touch.
But on the other side you herd a child screaming for help.
You tried to find a way into the cave but found no entrance
besides the entrance blocked by ice.
You scream and yell, letting the scared pup know u are there.
Then the ice starts to melt and you come through.
You try to help the pup and pick him up but
he bites your hand and sits in the corner shivering.
You sit and talk with the pup, letting him know it is ok, that u won’t harm him.
Finaly when the pup speaks he says,
“im sorry, I’ve been here trapped for so long.
I’ve been so cold behind that wall of ice.
I haven’t had a friend in so long.
The pup cuddles up into a ball in your lap for warmth.
“All I’ve ever wanted was to be loved.”
You save the pup from the cave and bring him out into the real world.
Now the pup will have to learn what it’s like to live on the outside.
Please don’t live the scared pup alone.
He may act like a big bad wolf, but inside he is scared.
