SADRAC STORIES: Dullahan
A knight from the western lands who was beheaded in battle and survived. Now serves as a member of Aodamo's court and marshal of his yokai armies.
Not a yokai per se this time around. This creature, the Dullahan, actually originated from Celtic mythology and was a clear influence on the Headless Horseman from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. It was described as an armored, headless rider, brandishing a whip made from human vertebrae, on either a horse or a carriage with bones serving as wheel spokes, purportedly to transport souls into the afterlife. It's said that the very sight of the Dullahan can blind a person, if not he'll throw a bucket of blood in your eye to do the job.
