Actually, it was meant to be a 'MySpace' style of photo. The kind you take to show off on social networking sites. Often done in one's bathroom, at odd angles and taken by taking a picture of yourself in the mirror, and then cropped and shopped to heck and back. :P

Don't worry, you missed nothing by not catching the MySpace fad. You've seen facebook, that's enough. XP

Yes, the linework is mine. There should be a sketched version in my scraps. I didn't change it much from that point. Glad you like it, man. :)

The shading was tough for me, as always and I'm *still* not where I want to be wrt to it, but I feel that with this piece I'm closer to where I want to be. It's nice. The colours were fun and mostly based on my favorites (with the exception of silver and black not being very prevalent... but plenty of violet).

Eyes are something I've always felt pretty good about my ability to do. They're not perfect by any stretch, but I like how I do them. Always room for improvement, of course.
