Happy Sweetest Day! Which may be a holiday mostly noticed around Ohio and southeastern Michigan but still, it's a nice chance to say something to the person you're sweetest on. Or, in this case, to draw a chocolate character. This stoat is referenced to another stoat drawing --- https://twitter.com/SocksEtc/status.....01552486313984 --- but I wanted to make it a bit more sweet, in this case by trying to do a chocolate texture.

And for some reason I settled on 'has blocks like you could break a chocolate bar along' instead of, you know, 'on the point of melting like any normal person would do'. Well, I also wanted to think out how to draw something with that much surface texture and it turns out the highlighting tricks used for shiny rubber creature art transfer over quite well too. I'm not saying that this really nails the 'made of three-dimensional blocks' look, but that it's getting the effect I want without taking me way past Sweetest Day to do.
