I remember actually trying this and it working out pretty well. The small sphere in the middle being the spine. Its easier to just roll the other spheres around on top of each other, and its easy to refine them into what will be the rib-cage, hip, and midsection.
Though, the bones in the leg sorta look like more than simple lines. Do you do more work on the leg structure so you know for sure where the knee is?

He's actually got most of it down on paper. Inking, erasing, and coloring--if he colors this one--is all that he really needs to do now.
A background as well, if he's going to include one.

Close, but not quite! Actually this is just the beginning. I still need to do a clean version of the sketch, tweaking the anatomy and details, fixing things up, changing things if the commissioner doesn't like something. Once that's done, then I ink, erase, colour, and there's still a step left to do after that. Once I'm done painting, I go over the paint in select areas with coloured pencil, adding in details and bringing out texture, and then finally I finish by re-inking, as paint and pencil tends to make the inked lines nearly vanish. Then finally, after that I'm done. x3

And to answer your question about the knee, I don't really do anything special. I sort of just draw one stick for the upper leg, a small circle where I think the knee should be, and another small stick for the lower leg. Then when I'm drawing the actual legs, I start with some long elongated ovals, one for each leg segment, and then simply connect them. I don't really have a precise method for doing legs, I kind of just eyeball the whole thing. Guess once you've done something enough times you stop worrying about setting it up just right and kinda just make it work from the getgo, y'know? :P

Yeah, I know entirely. I can mostly do the head without thinking with a few construction lines since I used to do nothing but portraits. On top of that, I'm useful in an art class, since I can almost always pinpoint whats wrong with a head if someone's having an issue with one.

Most of my smut is fairly straight forward. A blowjob might be dirty, but it's still just a blowjob. This is a winged husky standing in a clearing outside of a small town holding a piece of cake looking thrilled with life while a black tentacle works it's way up his leg.

Personally, I find it a bit strange. xD Not bad, or wrong or anything, just... unusual.

So far he looks more or less normal to me.

The husky is normal as far as normal can be applied to an anthropomorphic Siberian Husky with wings - it's the image itself (a winged husky holding a piece of cake and don't forget the tentacle) that's possible - unusual ;)
