TaylorNoir they have such awesome work, and deserve appreciation. After seeing an art piece from them, I got inspired to write a short story to match the art.

One day, like every other, began with the sun's crimson rays igniting the sky with its crimson glow. Above the town, the darkness transgressed to an ocean blue, lighting up the world around. The sudden illumination of the city triggered groans from the populace as they rejected the daylight. Yet, their predicament was made worse by an eerie tremor that resonated across the ground, agitating the people's sixth sense as they jolted from their slumber. With a moan, their eyes hesitantly averted to the nearest window in hopes to find the source of the disturbance. Anything, just any sight or sound that would provide an explanation to the disturbance would ease their racing hearts. A request that would later come to regret as a shadowy silhouette loomed in the distance, towering over geological formations as if they were a child's sandpit.
'No' the townsfolk mouthed in unison, rubbing their eyes in disbelief as a monumental creature marched with purpose towards them.
Each gentle footfall produced a magnitude four earthquake that cracked the earth beneath, sending an array of spider-web fissures from the impact site. Hesitantly, thousands upon thousands stood by a window, and watched the colossal being grow after every footstep. It was impossible. The impossible was moving closer towards them. A being that broke the square cube law by its sheer existence, and yet, there it was.
As it marched closer into the light, the sun's yellow glow began to radiate the titan's figure's. It was a poodle. A mesomorphic poodle that approached the town, wearing nothing but the appearance of sinfully tight shorts, wrinkled as those quads moved forward. His furred legs were mighty pillars, firing like pistons, propelling the canine closer towards civilisation. If that was not enough, those lips parted for a second to reveal its salivating cavern as it prepared to speak.
"Please, please do not be scared. I am safe, I am safe” he cooed in a silky voice, amplified by his expansive chest.
The town's folk paused, holding back on their desire to scream as the poodle spoke. Its size breaking physics itself was one thing, but the notion it could speak left the populace baffled. Not only was the canine a living and breathing building, but one that held true intelligence.
"Now, please, if you do not mind. Could you, maybe, move to the sidewalk so I can get through?" the poodle whispered gently, raising two bus-length handpaws, and drifted them apart just in case these tiny creature's failed to understand the message.
With little hesitation, anyone that congregated on the concrete street's dashed to both respective sides, providing a black and white striped carpet to greet the canine's pads. Lowering two finger's, he tugged the strap of his attire, and began to levitate a foot over the street. Tilting his head to inspect the area below, the poodle's paw soon planted onto the rood.
Even with caution, his sheer weight was enough to rip open the concrete surface from its weight alone, exposing the pipelines that fuelled the livelihoods around. A whoosh of air radiated out from the paw-crater, ruffling the hair and fur of those in the vicinity. As they peered up, tracing their eyes up the chiselled form of the dog, they locked onto the humble smile across the poodle's maw.
"Sorry lil one's, I'll try to be careful" he spoke tenderly, moving his other foot to take another step forward, and began to walk through the thin walkway.
The poodle marched deeper within the concrete maze, brushing softly paused buildings that struggled to match his towering form. These multi-colour pillars that served as a testament to the tiny species' strength, were both amusing and fascinating. His interest in this civilisation peaked as he approached the city, noticing a set of rectangular patches of grass, and a fountain in its centre.
"Seems you've built quite the city, I like it" the poodle spoke with a beam of delight, staring in awe at the toe-high specks below. With his hair ruffling in the wind, he raised an arm to plant a fraction of its weight onto a nearby apartment complex, refraining from testing its design. "I think I will visit here regularly, get to know you all" he asked, announcing his gentle nature with a smile.
