Jakku is a mantis from the Desert Moon Clan, a group of warriors from a desert on the southern coast near the Twisting Islands, home of the Twisting Island Clan, which is their arch rivals. Although their clans are rivals, Kojobo and Jakku have been known to work together. They are famous for defeating the Snake Mountain Boys, just the 2 of them. Jakku uses two masterfully crafted puppets (Pip and Slieu) to do the bulk of his fighting. He controls them using what some say is an ancient and forgotten magic. Others think he is merely a master of puppetry. He claims it is merely a hobby.
