This shows the variation in fur type and ornamental fur extensions in Siderians (Northern, horse sized big cats). I also decided to give a basic overview of the fur directions as some people have been confused by that, particularly the fur direction on the muzzle. Anyway as I explained on the sheet itself, siderians find ornamental fur quite attractive but since there quite some individual variation in preferences, there is also a lot of variation in fur types. However, all siderians have a coat that is adapted to the living conditions so you won't see any bald siderians or siderians with curly rex-fur or wirehair. Siderians with such (extremely rare) mutations my survive by wearing prey-hides but nobody would want kids with them so such mutations disappear rather quickly.

This sheet goes together with the general Siderian species overview, the anatomy chart and the variations overview. Only one more nerdsheet to go: the coat colours - the most exciting one! I will post that one in November, after two other drawings.
